       Digital Office Systems provides on site emergency service and regular scheduled maintenance for digital copiers, fax machines, and printers. Your office machines are serviced by factory trained and certified technicians. D.O.S. also supports network connected systems and can connect individual machines to your office network or corporate intranet. Service calls are handled with a fast response time of less than 4 hours during regular business hours and we never charge for travel time. You can maximize your savings by purchasing a maintenance agreement for your office copiers, printers and fax machines.

      System Integration can save your business a lot of time and money by reducing operating cost and increasing efficiency. Digital Office Systems can help your IT department with integrating your office machines into the office network. But if you don't have an IT department, D.O.S. can integrate your digital copiers, printers, fax machines and network scanners into the local area network. Or if your small business doesn't have a network, we can design and build one for your office. You can maximize your assets by sharing files and systems through a local network or VPN. Maintenance Agreement

▪ Basic Contract includes unlimited service calls and covers cleaning or adjustments but excludes parts, consumables (i.e. drum, developer, fuser, feed rollers,  filters) and supplies (toner, paper and staples).

▪ Full Contract includes unlimited service calls and covers cleaning, adjustments, parts, consumables (i.e. drum, developer, fuser, feed rollers,  filters) and toner.

Fax Machines Tips

        Do not place originals with bent corners or creases in the automatic document feeder because it could cause a jam or tear the original. And if your originals have whiteout on them make sure its completely dry before placing in the document feeder. Otherwise the whiteout sticks to the rollers and contact glass and will require a service call in order to have it cleaned.

Digital Copier Tips

        Fan the paper before placing it in the paper tray in order to prevent jams. Always use good quality paper to reduce paper fiber buildup on rollers and sensors which cause paper jams. Remove paper clips from your originals before placing in the document feeder because they cause substantial damage. When the machine is not in use place it in energy saver mode. Turn the power off at the end of the day  to prevent premature fuser unit wear. Do not place the machine near a window, or too close to a wall, because this will damage the machines internal parts. Always keep the copy paper in a dry place, and unopened until it’s ready to use. Otherwise it may cause paper jams or uneven copies. Always keep the paper at room temperature (65˚-85˚ F). If toner is stored in hot place it will harden, and become unusable. High humidity will also damage the toner.

Fax Machine Troubleshooting

  1. No power (Solution: Check the power cord for damage, and  make sure the outlet  is working properly)
  2. Can’t send or receive faxes (Solution: Check the phone line and make sure you are getting a dial tone)
  3. Can’t send long distance faxes (Solution: Call your long distance phone company to remedy problem)

Digital Copier Troubleshooting

  1. Spots on the copies (Solution: Clean the glass with antistatic glass cleaner provided by D.O.S.)
  2. Lines on copies (Solution: Clean the glass with antistatic glass cleaner provided by D.O.S.)
  3. Uneven copy (Solution: Check the paper if damp replace it with dry paper)

Printer Troubleshooting

  1. Network printer doesn't print (Solution: Check if the printer lost the IP address, and reassign it)
  2. Doesn't print  certain documents (Solution: Check the driver settings / verify the PDL)
  3. Doesn’t print from an Apple computer (Solution: Make sure the driver is set for postscript)
